ABOUT
What we do, and who's behind it.
The thinking behind Theorem.
Theorem Global is a logistics consultancy for growing e-commerce businesses - B2C and B2B brands shipping at scale. We work across the parts of logistics that quietly grow messy and expensive as a business grows; last mile, returns, warehouse and 3PL networks, freight costs and international shipping.
Most brands are overpaying somewhere, and can't see where - because logistics has grown into a tangle nobody's had the time or the map to unpick it. That's the job. We find the cost, cut the complexity, and build something that scales.
Some brands bring us in for a specific piece of work. Others hand us the running of it. Either way, clarity is the easy part - what sets us apart is execution. We don't just tell you what to do, we make it happen.
Who’s behind it
Andy Stotesbury
FOUNDER, THEOREM GLOBAL
I've spent my career building and implementing e-commerce logistics solutions for brands including ASOS, Peloton and FitFlop. I started Theorem to bring that experience to growing brands - the ones facing the same logistics decisions I've spent sixteen years making.
I implemented the customer returns experience at ASOS, then went to work for the market leader in that space, ReBound, where I owned global network development. I’ve managed carrier spend upwards of £50m per annum & managed 3PLs in multiple territories handling thousands of orders & returns per week. That's the operator's side of logistics - not advising on it from the outside, but building it, running it, and living with the results.
What I'm good at is bringing clarity to a logistics network that's grown complex - finding where costs are excessive, where things can be streamlined, and how to build something that scales. Then delivering it.
I've redesigned fulfilment networks resulting in 7-figure savings whilst at Peloton, and taken up to 30% off annual last-mile costs at FitFlop through structured tender processes. I bring a network. Years of relationships across global e-commerce logistics providers; 3PLs, freight forwarders, last-mile and returns carriers, and tech platforms - spanning trade compliance, customs, freight and fulfilment. When something needs doing, I usually know exactly who to call.
Theorem isn't one person with opinions. It's years of relationships across every stage of the supply chain - the people who actually move, store, ship and return your product. For a growing brand, that's the difference between guessing and knowing.
The reach of a network built over a career.

Straight answers to what most brands ask before getting in touch.
-
Both - but the delivery is the point. Plenty of consultancies will hand you a report and leave. We'd rather do the work: run the tender, redesign the network, manage the 3PL, own the returns. Clarity is the easy part. Execution is the job.
-
Growing e-commerce brands - DTC, B2C and B2B - typically spending £1m or more a year on logistics, and shipping internationally or planning to. If logistics has become a real cost line and there's no one senior owning it, that's usually where we can help most.
-
It depends on the engagement. One-off projects like a health check or a tender are fixed-scope and fixed-fee, so you know the cost upfront. Ongoing support, fractional management or fully managed logistics - is retained, priced to the level of involvement you need. Whatever the model, you'll know what you're paying before we start.
-
Either. Some brands want an extra pair of experienced hands alongside their existing team - sitting across carriers, 3PLs and projects. Others have no logistics function and want us to run it end to end. The engagement flexes to what you actually need.
-
Then we’ll tell you. One conversation is usually enough to know whether there's something worth doing. If there isn't, we’ll say so - we'd rather be straight with you than take on work that won't pay for itself.
-
Usually within a couple of weeks for a project, sooner for an initial conversation.
-
We’re UK-based but work with brands shipping across the UK, Europe, US and beyond - the network and experience span international logistics, customs and cross-border fulfilment.
Still weighing it up? A first call is the fastest way to know if there's something worth doing.
